You know, most everyday I am painting for either a baby or a child, but this time, I got the chance to paint something cute for a kitchen! The customer wanted something fun and whimsical to put on a narrow wall in her kitchen. She wanted the letters "EAT' and for them to reflect kitchen icons, such as mixers, potholders, wisk, cupcakes, baking, tea, coffee, and cocoa... Hmm... I thought that was a lot of stuff, but then I came up with the idea of making each panel a different theme; one for appliances/tools, one for cupcakes and baking, and the last one for tea and cocoa. I kept same color palette throuhout all of the canvases, and well... I think the finished result ended up marvelous. What do you think?
This is my first mini Valentine's Day Party Package. I was planning to have a giveaway, but do the the low response in entries, I have decided to make this a printable download via Scribd. The requirement to sign up to follow my blog isn't necessary. Just click, download and get to cutting....
Since this is my first mini party package, I would really love to get some feedback on it. Please, feel free to send me photos of your finished projects. I would love to see them!
This is DIY printable that you can easily make for a small Valentine's Day Celebration. The package includes a LOVE pennant banner, 12 cupcake toppers, and 4 napkin/silverware wraps in an elegant black/white damask and red polka dot design.
I highly recommend printing these on white cardstock. They are PDF files, and formatted to print on 8.5 x 11 size paper. I was able to carve out a little time in order to make the pennant banner and it turned out really cute....see?
